Here's exactly what happens during your remodel — from demo day to the final walkthrough. You get a schedule like this before we start, and a daily update on where things stand.
We protect the floors and hallway, shut off water, and tear out the old tub, tile, vanity and fixtures. Debris is hauled away the same day it comes out — you're never left with a pile.
After demo we fix what the walls were hiding — patching framing and drywall so everything behind the tile is square, solid and ready for inspection.
New supply lines, drains and valves are roughed in to match your new layout — for example moving the drain if you're converting a tub into a walk-in shower. If your plumbing is staying where it is, this step is quick.
Adding or moving lights, switches, outlets or an exhaust fan happens now. If your plan keeps the existing electrical, we skip this step entirely — you don't pay for work your bathroom doesn't need.
Cement backer board goes up and the shower gets a full waterproofing membrane — the part of the remodel that decides whether it lasts 5 years or 25. We don't rush it.
Your chosen tiles go in — floors, shower walls, any niche or accent you picked in the design plan. We grout and let it cure properly before anything heavy goes back in.
Vanity, toilet, shower glass, faucets, mirror and lighting are installed and connected. This is the day the room starts looking like a magazine photo.
Fresh paint on walls and ceiling, trim and caulk lines finished, hardware adjusted, and the room gets a full clean-up.
We walk the room together, test every fixture, and note anything that needs a touch-up. You get your 1-year workmanship warranty in writing before we call it done.
This timeline is the typical flow. Your exact schedule depends on your room, your layout, and the tiles and materials you choose — we put the plan together with you and lock the dates before we lift a tile.
